Global Entrepreneurship Week is here again
Global Entrepreneurship Week is just around the corner! And we in Go Negosyo are celebrating it with thousands of entrepreneurs and the British Embassy, led by Ambassador Asif Ahmad.
This GEW celebrates the drive and commitment of thousands of job-creators, livelihood providers and product innovators — the entrepreneurs. We are organizing a couple of activities that will inspire entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs in pursuing their goals and dreams in their entrepreneurial journey.
This year we have the Southeast Asia Mobile Application Challenge, which is a nationwide competition for techies and non-techies alike who have creative ideas for a mobile application. Next is the Go Negosyo Building Enterprising Students for Tomorrow (BEST Program), which is for the outstanding students of universities who will undergo an exclusive one-year program that will further harness their character and competencies. Then we also partnered with PLDT SME Nation for the PLDT Bossings Award. We will be recognizing a new batch of Bossings who can help reignite the entrepreneurial spirit of our nation.
Another summit coming up is the OFW and Family Summit of Villar Foundation and Go Negosyo. Aside from these, in our ninth year, we are launching our ninth book, which tells 50 inspiring stories of entrepreneurs who pursued their passion and reached their success. I encourage everyone to participate in these activities and explore their potential as self-starters and innovators.
