Sack it Tumi!

MANILA, Philippines –  In celebration of its 35th anniversary, Tumi, the international brand of premium, business, travel and lifestyle accessories, presents its limited-edition Tumi Originals.

Featuring 35 iconic city leather luggage tags and a collection of Boston bags, Tumi Originals is the reinterpretation of some Tumi’s firsts. The five-style collection includes silhouettes such as the first tri-fold garment bag, soft satchel and tote.

Crafted from washed Malaga leather, this material mimics the quality of the original leather. Unique to the Originals Collection is the use of antique brass hardware, and the unlined leather front pockets, both of which are direct references to the styling details of the brand’s first product designs.

Blending the old and the new, the shape of the logo plaque resembles that of Alpha but the treatment and stamping of the logo conveys the vintage tone. Available in black and sienna brown, Tumi Originals incorporate styling details and elements first used by the brand 35 years ago but with an innovative approach.

Tumi was founded in 1975 by former Peace Corps member Charlie Clifford, who was captivated by the authentic raw leather produced in Columbia.
