Smart extends unlimited texting to postpaid subscribers

MANILA, Philippines - Responding to mobile subscribers’ need for an affordable and reliable communication experience, leading wireless services provider Smart Communications, through its Smart Gold Lite postpaid service, recently launched Smartxt – the first unlimited texting promo for postpaid plan subscribers.

Through the Smartxt promo, all Smart Gold Lite subscribers can enjoy unlimited texting to all Smart and Talk ‘N Text subscribers.

Smartxt is available in two packages: Smartxt 30 and Smartxt 60. With Smartxt 30, a subscriber can enjoy unlimited texting for two days; and with Smartxt 60, a subscriber can enjoy unlimited texting for five days.

To avail of the Smartxt promos, a subscriber just needs to type 30 or 60 and send to 8077. A confirmation message will be received to signify successful registration. The subscriber can then immediately use the service. Registration to Smartxt will be billed on top of the monthly plan. Promo period is until April 30, 2010.

Smart Gold Lite plan is a mix of industry-first postpaid subscription plans that are low-cost, high-value, and answer the evolving needs and preferences of subscribers. Smart Gold Lite is available in 300, 500, 800, 1200, 1800 and 2500 postpaid plans, offering the lowest postpaid call rate of P2 per minute.
