Reuseable Notebook: Integrated with cloud and erasable by microwave

Alixandra Caole Vila - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines – Imagine transferring your entire notebook writing to the cloud in a single snap. Now imagine erasing those writings in 30 seconds by heating the notebook in a microwave.

Rocketbook seems like a normal pen and paper at first look, but with heat-sensitive ink and a mobile app, this notebook might serve as the greatest office technology yet.

Freshly launched on Indiegogo, the notebook, designed by Rocket Innovations is devised to be completely reusable.

The Rocketbook system is a combination of a special notebook and a mobile app. These two components work together to allow users to write notes by hand and create designs on paper, then effortlessly upload their notes to the appropriate files online, faster than ever before, Indiegogo says.

Once you fill up all the pages, the Rocketbook is able to digitize all your notes and store them in the cloud. Here’s how:

  1. Each page of the notebook features a set of seven different symbols such as those that symbolize Dropbox, Google docs or your email inbox.
  2. Once you finished writing your notes, all you need to do is mark one of the symbols on the page.
  3. After marking the symbol,  scan it with Rocketbook’s accompanying smartphone app. Digitized copy of your notes will instantly be sent to the cloud storage platform of your choice.

But, there’s more to sending digital files.  The notes you wrote can be cleared by heating it inside a microwave for 30 seconds, making the notebook reusable!

Believe it.

Watch the notebook in action here, as posted by Indiegogo:

The company is selling the Rocketbook on Indiegogo for $45 for a two-pack of the notebooks and $65 for a three-pack.
