Workshop on hazardous materials handling set

The Department of Environment and Natural Resources-Environmental Management Bureau-(NCR) and the Water Environment Association of the Philippines (WEAP) will conduct a workshop for hazardous waste transporters, treaters, recyclers and owners of storage and disposal facilities on Feb. 6 at the Great Eastern Hotel, Quezon City.

The seminar is designed to further strengthen the implementation of the Toxic Substances and Hazardous and Waste Act (RA 6969) in Metro Manila. It also aims to form an association of the various concerned sectors.
