Jim Paredes workshops go south
MANILA, Philippines - In response to long-running requests from people living South of Manila, Jim Paredes will conduct his popular ‘’Humming in My Universe’’ workshops at the Festival Supermall Mini-Trade Hall, 2/F, Alabang, Muntinlupa.
First in the series is ‘’Creative Life Coaching,’’ set on May 8, a workshop that aims to help participants, aged 25 years old and above, lead happier, creative lives by dealing with issues of creativity through personally-assigned tasks and interactive exercises to get to the core of the creative blockage. The workshop will employ various creativity techniques as well as Paredes’ practices as a successful, multi-faceted artist.
‘’Basic Photography,’’ set on May 18, will teach techniques such as capturing light, framing a story or a point, and moving the viewer with pictures. For this workshop, shots will be done manually to understand the camera’s features. DSLR camera is required.
The Songwriting workshop, set on May 27, will teach the elements that comprise good songs — melody, structure, lyrics, and arrangements — and songwriting.

The workshop series is mounted in partnership with Festival Supermall Amusement Center. Festival Supermall is a premier development of Filinvest Corporate City.
