A Carribean AFFair

OH YES, IT'S JOHNNY! - Johnny Litton -
To celebrate its 81st year, the Catholic Women’s Club (CWC) went on a "Carribean Cruise" without ever leaving land. The Rigodon Ballroom of the Manila Peninsula Hotel was dressed up to look like an ocean liner ready to leave port.

"Passengers" were CWC members headed by president Lulu Tesoro-Castañeda and co-chairmembers Thelma E. Gana, Cecile Limjoco and Myrna P. Borromeo. The scintillating sound of Carribean music filled the air, and CWC members and their guests came in colorful costumes. Mel Mathay Celebrates Another Year
Former Quezon City Mayor Mel Mathay held an intimate birthday party at the China Bistro Restaurant in Libis organized by the chairman of Two Hearts Foundation Vilma Valera.

Close friends and family members of Mel Mathay, who was in a sleek jusi barong over black pants, joined him in the soiree of exquisite food, short of formal sit-down affair facilitated mostly by Two Hearts Foundation members led by Vilma Valera, who looked as chic in fetching white, sabrina blouse over black slack. Together, family priest Fr. Jerry Tapiador, Fr. Sonny Ramirez and Fr. Larry Faraon officiated in praying for a more blissful life for the celebrant.

Leading the tie that binds was Chuck Mathay and wife Nerissa with two good-looking sons Mackie and Chris with sexy actress Ara Mina, Bu Mathay and wife Pinky, Tony and Chiqui Mathay Jaramillo, Marj Mathay Rodriguez, brother Cio and wife Precy with grandson Iñigo and sister-in-law Betty and Tita Vi’s siblings Mikee and Rea de Guzman, Raymond and Aina Puyat and Tinee and Chiqui de Guzman.
