MANILA, Philippines — Always having raw langka (jackfruit) in the form of Ginataang Langka? You can try something new and different.

Mama Sita’s, a popular brand of mixes and sauces, suggests combining the gata (coconut milk) with caldereta sauce to cook the langka in, with this Langka in Coco Caldereta Sauce recipe featured in its newly released "Easy Vegetarian Recipes" cookbooklet. You may want to go out of the box and treat your palate to a new flavor experience.
