Highlands Prime expects sales of P4.2 billion from 3 Tagaytay projects

- Zinnia B. Dela Peña -

MANILA, Philippines - Highlands Prime Inc., a high-end leisure property firm controlled by the family of retail tycoon Henry Sy, is expected to generate around P4.2 billion in sales from three projects within Tagaytay Highlands.

These projects are The Woodridge Place, which offers a total of 127 condominium units; The Hillside at Tagaytay Highlands; and The Woodlands Point.

Out of the expected total sales, P1.6 billion will come from the sale of 60 single-detached log cabins; P2.1 billion from Phase 1 of the Woodridge Place and P510 million from the Phase 1 development of The Hillside, the first residential lot development at the Highlands complex.

Highlands Prime is also building Pueblo Real, a lots-only development adjacent to The Horizon with a Santa Fe-Mexican theme. The village will feature a neighborhood plaza with a community center, swimming pool, winding creek and nature trails with hanging bridges, pocket parks and bicycle lanes.

The first phase of Pueblo Real, located on a 5.9-hectare property, will have 68 lots with an average lot cut of 350 square meters.

To meet the varied needs of Tagaytay Highlands’ distinguished clientele, Highlands Prime is rolling out three projects this year – the second phase development of The Woodridge (which comprise two buildings with about 56 condominium units), II Piazze (an exclusive mid-rise condominium development adjacent to the Tagaytay Midlands Golf Club), and the second phase development of The Horizon.

Situated on a four-hectare property, II Piaze is envisioned to carry the architectural theme and ambiance of Tuscany in Southern Italy. It will feature a large landscaped plaza with a water feature. Units will be designed to capture the development’s surrounding scenery of Taal lake, the Midlands golf course, Mt. Makiling and the lush greeneries of Tagaytay Midlands.

The Horizon Phase 2, on the other hand, will feature two to three-bedroom townhouses and will have views of the Taal Lake, Midlands golf course and surrounding mountains.

In the first quarter this year, Highlands Prime reported a 127-percent jump in net earnings to P26.8 million on the back of higher revenues.
