More in store at Malayan Plaza

Lester Gopela Hallig - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Good things come in many forms. At The Malayan Plaza, Ortigas Center, these come in the form of new room categories and a host of exciting promos geared toward providing guests with a new level of comfort and satisfaction.

Top on the list are the new one-bedroom premier and two-bedroom superior rooms. The first category offers two queen-size beds while the latter features one queen-size bed and two single beds.

“The one-bedroom premier represents our response to clients requesting larger accommodation for their families,” says The Malayan Plaza hotel manager Ernie Baclayon. “Here at The Malayan Plaza, we try to accommodate everyone. The request for such a room is so strong that we decided to create the one-bedroom premier and the two-bedroom superior. Our returning clients have shown their approval.”

The Malayan Plaza continues to create more one-bedroom premier rooms, with more on the way each month. The category size is pegged at 70 square meters, and is equipped with kitchen and dining facilities, all to service the growing family market as it increases every year.

Baclayon says, “This room type is ideal for families that want to do staycations on weekends. This is the kind of family that prefers to stay overnight, go mall-hopping at the Podium Center across the street, and dine in the nearby restaurants. It is also ideal for birthdays, anniversaries, and other small and intimate gatherings.”

The hotel manager adds that even corporate clients will appreciate their new rooms. “Small business groups doing corporate planning and team building will find the rooms extremely useful and budget friendly. The rooms are flexible enough to meet the needs and preferences of both leisure and business clients,” he adds.

In connection with these new rooms, The Malayan Plaza is holding the Barkada Getaway Promo. The special promo offers the one-bedroom premier at P6,399 and the two-bedroom superior at P6,799. The package includes pica-pica and four bottles of beer, and runs until June 30.

Meanwhile, there is also the Cityscape Promo, perfect for mid-week or weekend escapes from the hectic city life. The studio superior room is at P3,699 net while the one-bedroom deluxe goes for only P4,299 net. The value-laden promo includes buffet breakfast and move tickets for two at any SM Cinema, and goes until July 31.

If these promos are filling enough, then try the new Unlimited Pizza/Pasta Promos that ends on July 31.

For only P199 net for pizza or pasta, guests can dine to their hearts’ — and tummies’ — content at The Malayan Plaza’s cozy 33rd floor Executive Lounge with a panoramic view of the city. On the pasta menu are pesto, arrabiata, and aglio olio. The pizza menu boasts of Hawaiian, vegetable, and fried chicken pizzas.

“It is an eat-all-you-can promo that reaffirms The Malayan Plaza’s commitment in offering value-for-money accommodations and dining experiences,” Baclayon says.

“There are more renovations and improvements on the drawing board. The new lobby will sport a new look and will definitely wow everyone,” he declares. “We want to keep our loyal clients and win new ones. We have been around eight years and we are proud of what The Malayan Plaza has achieved and will keep on achieving — all for the pleasure of our guests.”
