G-shot for your G-spot

SAVOIR FAIRE - SAVOIR FAIRE By Mayenne Carmona -
There are the straitlaced conservatives and the quasi-conservatives. The latter pretend they are straitlaced depending on the company they are with. But, if they are among modern thinkers, they go with the flow. Unlike the straitlaced conservatives, modern thinkers don’t believe in growing old gracefully, untouched by scientific technology. When the s**t hits the fan or when the wrinkles start setting in, the lids and the jowls start to droop and the girth uncontrollably expand in spite of Pilates, Bikram yoga, and daily incantations to be thin, modern thinkers waste no time looking for the doctor with the magic wand. Quasi-conservatives with a little prodding will come along, too, perhaps in secret, so as not to flaunt to their ultra- conservative friends that they don’t believe in aging, no matter how graceful it may be.

A quasi-conservative golden friend, who looks like she has discovered the fountain of youth, revealed the secret of her youthful looks, after she made me swear I would not tell her husband. In two years, she has had five sessions of Titan and four Botox lifts (also called Meso Botox) with Dr. Jasmin Jamora (call 894-3952). Titan uses light frequency in order to stimulate collagen contraction, resulting in tighter skin and minimized facial lines. The Botox lift is for drooping lids, plumping up deep forehead lines, and lifting drooping jowls minimally. The result is a firm, crease-free face. Trust me, my golden friend looks fabulous.

Another friend, who looks younger than her years, recommended to me Dr. Patricia Tinio, who holds office at the Beverly Hills, 6750 Bldg. Expecting to see somebody middle-aged, I was so shocked to meet somebody so young. She assured me that in spite of her youth, she is a certified dermatologist. Dr. Tinio completed a two-year clinical fellowship in Phototherapy and Laser Surgery at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City. Her research papers have been published internationally in the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology and the Skin Medicine Journal.

I asked her what is best for women who have just a slight sagging of the jowls and a few lines here and there. She recommended the following:

1. Thermage is a patented radio frequency technology that stimulates collagen contraction, resulting in tighter skin and renewed facial contours. Aside from reversing the signs of aging in the face and neck, it has also been recently used to tone the skin in the abdomen, arms, buttocks and thighs.

2. eMax is the first and only combined- energy technology. It uses the power of bi-polar radio frequency and light energies, because two energies are better than one. The result is younger-looking and tighter skin.

3. Aurora for FotoFacial RF Skin Rejuvenation uses a combination of radio frequency and broad-spectrum light. Over several sessions, your skin looks and feels smoother. It rejuvenates the skin by treating superficial benign vascular and pigmented lesions, which is common among women above 40.

4. Fraxel SR Laser Reliant is the first and only dermatologic laser system to employ fractional resurfacing as an approach to non-ablative skin rejuvenation of the face, neck, chest and hands. It is a safe, time-efficient procedure used for uneven pigmentation, melasma, age and sun spots, skin re-surfacing and wrinkle reduction, acne scars and striae. Just as Dr. Tinio and I were discussing what procedure is best for me, David Bunevacz (who, with his wife, Jessica Rodriguez, put up Beverly Hills Cosmetic Surgery and Skin Institute) walked in.

David talked about the much awaited G-shot for the G-spot. Seeing the quizzical look on my face, he explained that women have a G-spot somewhere on top of the cervix, which when massaged or stimulated gives a fantastic sensation. In the same breath, he said that Dr. David Matlock of Los Angeles invented a G-Shot for the G-spot in order to awaken and enhance the waning desires of menopausal or post-menopausal women or for younger women who are not satisfied with their sex life. Dr. Matlock trained a Filipino doctor, Dr. Marinduque, to do give shots at Beverly Hills 6750.

David added that Dr. Matlock’s forte is Laser Vaginal Rejuvenation (LVR), which is supposed to enhance vaginal muscle tone, strength and control. This is done also by Dr. Marinduque and is good for women who have had a lot of pregnancies. It is an outpatient procedure, unlike in the past when women had to stay in the hospital for some days.

Going back to the G-spot, my research shows that the G-spot is also called the female prostate and is a functional genitourinary female organ. A lot of doctors have researched it and interested women should get the book The Human Female Prostrate by Dr. Milan Zaviacic, who has researched the G-spot for 20 years, and has published his material in 40 international medical journals.

David said that they already have patients lined up for the G-Shots, which will be another feature of Beverly Hills 6750 starting May 17.

There will be no stopping the scientific techniques on non-invasive, anti-aging beauty procedures. And women, as well as men, who wish to defy age will always go for these treatments. There is such a demand for anti-aging procedures nowadays that establishments like Beverly Hills are sprouting all over the metro. Beverly Hills is well equipped with the latest world-class technology and facilities and staffed with high- caliber medical professionals. They have two plastic-aesthetic surgeons, Rene Valerio MD and Francis Manalo, MD. Three dermatologists: Patricia Tino MD, Maria Angela Cumagun, MD, Camille Angeles, MD, and two cosmetic dentists, Don Magadia, MD and Maria Socorro Magadia MD.

With the onset of modern anti-aging technologies, one can age gracefully, but only with the help of these good, qualified doctors.
