An evening of music and camaraderie
The board of directors and members of the Philippine-Russian Friendship Society invited their friends: singers Jonathan Badon, The Angelos, tenor Al Dresden Ramos, Tony Pastor, and Fame Flores to a musical soiree in honor of their beloved president Narda Camacho. The party was hosted by Noel Gonzales, president and CEO of Muebles Italiano, the country’s premier provider of fine European classic furniture. Noel opened the doors to his expansive company showroom in Paseo de Magallanes, Makati to accommodate guests who all came to share in the joy and solidarity, celebrating Narda’s birthday.
A round of tennis and good times
The world-class Savannah tennis court of Plantation Bay Resort and Spa was the site of the third and final round of the Davis Cup Asia Oceania Group 2 Tie. It is the fifth year the award-wining resort in Mactan Island, Cebu has hosted a round in the world’s largest annual international team competition in men’s tennis. Plantation Bay acting general manager Nenette Castillon and her efficient resort staff made sure the home team and New Zealand delegation had an overall, unforgettable experience during the Davis Cup welcome dinner and awarding ceremony held at the shell-clay court.
Time out with Tessie
An intimate group of women joined their dear friend, Tessie Briones, as she celebrated her birthday with a meaningful Thanksgiving Mass followed by a sumptuous lunch of fine Chinese cuisine at Makati Shangri-La ‘s Shang Palace. Instead of accepting presents, the ever-gracious party host turned the tables and gifted her friends with colorful shawls and wallets. Filled with loyal friends and punctuated with lots of laughter, the luncheon party lasted until late in the afternoon.
