A food fest featuring a mouthwatering smorgasbord of ready-to-eat cuisine that dot the streets of our Asian neighbors was launched at the Concourse level of the Power Plant Mall in Rockwell. The “Asian Street Food Invasion” offered colorful street food and beverages from Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, and Malaysia in a hawker-style setup at all Rustan’s Supermarket Fresh branches —a delightful way to experience an authentic culinary and cultural adventure without having to leave the country. Seen at the exclusive launching were Rustan Supercenters, Inc. (RSCI) president Donnie Tantoco and chief operating officer Patrick Simon, Rockwell Land vice president for retail Malou Pineda, RSCI vice president for marketing Frances Yu, and Thai Airways general manager Sern Chupikulchai.
Groovin’ in Tagaytay
The stunning Angie Sison surprised her loving husband, 4th Dimension mogul Dodi Sison, with a birthday party at the couple’s weekend country home in Ponderosa Tagaytay. Dodi’s golf buddies, family and friends were around to greet the birthday celebrator. The guests obviously had a great time, enjoying the fresh salad greens and festive food served and the cool breeze of Tagaytay. After the meal, everybody was seen later singing and dancing to the music of a live band.
