Coffee shop offers dessert martini, tea-based mojito in new Makati cafe bar
MANILA, Philippines — Coffee shop Pocofino is expanding its services by opening a new cafe bar in the heart of Makati's central business district.
Joining Caffe Pocofino in Bonifacio Global City, Pocofino Coffee Lab in Mandaluyong, and Chiosco Pocofino Greenhills in San Juan is Bar Pocofino in The Ellis Makati along L.P. Leviste in Salcedo Village.
Open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. — with a possible extension to 2 a.m. — the new cafe bar carries a menu catering to both morning and evening people.
Coffee beverages and meals are available from opening to closing, while cocktails can be purchased beginning 4 p.m. until the store closes.
Familiar beverages from Caffe Pocofino can be found in Bar Pocofino like the Caffe and Doppio espresso shots, Americano, Cappucino, Mocha, Caffe Latte, Tre Latte, Iced Cannella Latte, and the ever-popular Pocofino Latte.

Joining the Pasta Pesto, Pasta Rossa and Poco Salad on the food menu are seven Panini selections: Classico (prosciutto and cheese), Formaggio (four cheese), Piccante (four cheese and chili sauce), Pesto Di Pollo (pesto, cheese, tomato, and ham), Tonno (tuna and truffle), La Prima (breakfast sausage and egg), and Randello (Italian BLT).
Certain to capture the eye are the cocktail selections like staples Whiskey Sour (albeit sweeter) and Manhattan and new creations, Basil Campania and The Sicily.
There is also the La Dolce Vita, a dessert martini with sweetened cream and Italian espresso shot; a tea-based mojito called Mojito Te Verde and Pocofino's take on Old Fashioned, the Il Signore.
Following the cafe bar's opening, Pocofino is now preparing for the opening of a new branch in Araneta City.
