Bohemian and rock mix in this season of fringes, leather and metallics

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - What are the hot fashion trends for the coming cold season? The SSI Group, Inc. headed by Anton Huang recently unveiled the autumn-winter collections of Zara, Bershka, Massimo Dutti, Stradivarius, and Pull & Bear.

Zara goes bohemian this season, taking inspiration from the ’70s with flared denims, bell-bottom jeans, fringes on hems and soft suede. Its rock selection comes in leather and metallics, while mixing lace with tough materials.

Bershka Man features bomber jackets and coats using corduroy, wool, jacquard and denims. Bershka Woman has an urban feel using rich fabrics and details on the finishing of clothes. Denim comes with  stonewashed effect for a “destroyed” version.

Massimo Dutti is inspired by cinema classic, films from the ‘70s that have moulded the face of fashion. From suede pieces with fringing to cord trousers, denim and leather are ever present. The boho style comes with a hint of nostalgia.

Stradivarius  tells a story about music and emotions. The Seventies rock leaves clear influences in the must-haves of the season: fringed vests and garments, floral printed dresses, A-line skirts, snake prints and velvet blazers.

Pull & Bear has two collections. Black Label for men is clean, cutting edge and urban with extra-long bomber jackets, buggy cut-off chinos, along with regular and skinny fit jeans. Pacific Girls is defined by comfort and a dynamic outdoor lifestyle. Fun, freshness and a carfare style are reflected in short sleeved-T-shirts, sweatshirts, parkas and knitted garments for the cold season.
