The beautiful Myrna Delgado

One of the most beautiful faces in the ‘50s and early ‘60s was that of Myrna Delgado, the fair and bedimpled American mestiza (Betty Hill offcam). She played the title role in the Sampaguita drama-comedy Waldas, a spoiled brat and spendthrift tamed by Pancho Magalona.

Myrna also co-starred with Pancho in Menor de Edad, Sa Dulo ng Landas, Basahang Ginto and Kasaysayan ni Rudy Concepcion.

Her other Sampaguita movies included Monghita, Recuerdo, Tres Muskiteras, Matandang Dalaga, Tatay na si Bondying.    — RKC
