Remembering Teddy

MANILA, Philippines -The legacy and memory of the late senior Supreme Court justice Teodoro “Teddy” Padilla lives on as his collection of decisions, rare books, photos and various memorabilia was donated by his family to the De La Salle University (DLSU) library. A modest turnover ceremony was organized by the DLSU top officials led by president Bro. Ricky Laguda and College of Law Dean lawyer Jose “Chel” Diokno and was held at the library’s 13th floor that houses the special collections section. Gracing this meaningful event was the entire Padilla clan led by matriarch Lou Ellen Padilla along with children Dr. Minguita Padilla-Lopez, lawyer Binoy Padilla and Teddy Padilla, Jr. as well as a few close friends of the late justice.
