Pagdanganan to address Creba

-
Agrarian Reform Secretary Roberto M. Pagdanganan will be the guest of honor and keynote speaker of the Chamber of Real Estate and Builders Associations (CREBA) during its third monthly business meeting at noon tomorrow, March 27, at the Dusit Hotel grandballroom.

This was announced by CREBA national president Florentino S. Dulalia Jr. and VP-internal affairs Editha L. Manansala.

During the meeting, the CREBA International Foundation will also be launched in a bid to increase the country’s foreign exchange earnings and boost the national economy.

Pagdanganan is expected to touch on current efforts by the Department of Agrarian Reform and the private sector led by CREBA to harmonize the objectives of agrarian reform and the government’s housing program to provide the people’s basic needs.

Late last year, under CREBA’s initiatives, the real estate sector and DAR succeeded in formalizing a memorandum of agreement in the presence of President Arroyo to work closely in attaining the constitutional goal of helping both the rural and urban folks.

The DAR chief is chairman, Foundation for Local Autonomy and Good Governance Inc., professor at the De La Salle University graduate school of business; member, Land Bank board of directors, national executive board, Boy Scouts of the Phils., board of trustees; Boy Scouts Foundation of the Phils.; and board of trustees, Citizens’ National Network Against Poverty and Corruption.

Pagdanganan holds the degrees of bachelor of science in chemical engineering, summa cum laude, Manuel L. Quezon University (1968), obtaining the 11th place in chemical engineering board exam in 1968; master in business administration, De La Salle University (1981); bachelor of laws, MLQ University (1990), industrial marketing course, Ashridge Management College, England (1977); international management course, Unilever Training Center, England (1981).

CREBA is the largest grouping of real estate developers and professionals in the country, with 42 regional and provincial chapters. It will observe this year its 30th founding anniversary.
