A Photo Installation for the Year of the Water Dragon

-

MANILA, Philippines - It’s Chinese New Year once again and it is the time when, The Philippine STAR and Swatch, partner to celebrate its Annual Chinese New Year Art Competition. This is year seven and this year’s theme is the “Enter the Dragon” T-shirt Competition.

Swatch friend and renowned photographer Ronnie Salvacion, gives us his take on this year’s “Enter the Dragon” T-shirt Competition. Inspired by the Swatch Smooth Wave Chrono Plastic Watch, he created a kid’s T-shirt and made use of a toy gun and a photo print of splashing water, forming a dragon, as materials. He explains, “The design speaks for itself. Plastic, water-resistant. Timely.”

Join now! Be inspired and create your own dragon design and win cash prizes, a Swatch Year of the Dragon watch or Swatch gift certificates. Also get a chance for you and your family and friends who were born in the Year of the Dragon to be a part of the culminating grand Dragon Ball.
