To move on in life, we must remove emotional blocks

- Gina Lopez -
Many times during the day we see ourselves reacting in ways that are not warranted by the situation. Our anger is impulsive and volcanic, our irritations are intense, our fears and insecurities adversely affect our relationships – the list is long. A clear look at our lives will undoubtedly show that many times we are hostage to our emotions, our impulse. This keeps us from moving on, and experiencing a life of peace, harmony and inner growth.

One answer to all of this is ISIS (which stands for Inner Space Interactive Sourcing), a regression method introduced by Dr. Samuel Sagan, the founder of the Clairvision School in Australia. The results have been so successful and so profound that the American Biographical Institute honored him with an international award.

I have had the chance to experience ISIS during an intensive in Australia. ISIS is an interactive technique practiced in pairs, between a client and a facilitator. There were several ISIS sessions in a day. Each one had the opportunity to be both client and facilitator. As a facilitator I learned to connect to higher spaces – allowing my client to explore the depths of his/her issues. There were highly trained instructors guiding us all the way. In one session my client regressed all the way back to her mother’s womb. She had a happy childhood – but she always had a sense of insecurity and sadness. Apparently, she had been given away by her birth mother. Deep inside she could still remember the fears of her mother, the insecurity that comes as a result of not being embraced and enveloped by a mother’s presence, and although her foster parents were wonderful people, she still carried that sadness with her. So during the session, she was crying profusely. I could feel the "baby’s pain" and then I started crying… It was awesome! She had two more sessions like that after which she felt like the heavy weight of sadness had been lifted from her. Incredible!

As a client, the most significant experience I had was experiencing my anger in its raw form. My modus operandi in daily life is to suppress it – and of course it often escapes and wrecks havoc on my life and the people around me. This time my connector guided me into going deep into the energy, experiencing it in its raw form, regressing – where did this all come from? It was like I had a volacano inside me bursting at the seams… then I was encouraged to let it all out. I screamed – I couldn’t believe it was me! When it was all over I entered a very soothing distinctly golden space. Even after the ISIS was over I remained in a state of very deep calmness. I had never before experienced such a state of peace and freedom. It was awesome. I still have my anger, but the experience of sourcing it in its raw form has definitely lessened the voltage of its impulsiveness. It doesn’t control me the way it used to. One such session is not enough to be "totally free." I still have a long way to go. But the experience of that energy let me realize that instead of suppressing my anger I can learn to harness the energy behind it to lead a more productive life, and ironically to even bring me more peace!

I had been meditating for decades, and while I would experience sporadic states of peace, my anger and restlessness had never left me. And this is precisely what Dr. Sagan says. That one can meditate for years and years but unless one removes these blockages, it’s like rowing the boat "while it’s on anchor." And this is exactly the aim of ISIS: freedom – from inner blocks, negative conditioning and neurotic features.

A week ago Dr. Sagan was in Manila to give a workshop in awakening the third eye. His assistant Matteus Levell stayed behind to give ISIS sessions to the interested participants. Here are some of their experiences:

Din Din Velasco, a psychologist, says, "The ISIS brings self-awareness by releasing emotional blockages, which helps one to live more fully in the ‘now.’ It certainly complements other healing modalities. Highly-recommended for people who earnestly seek to experience and know thyself."

Teena Serna, Whistle Stop owner, shares, "It was very relaxing afterwards, you have a feeling of peace – feeling very centered."

According to RA.B., a housewife/mother, "My first ISIS session was good. At first I felt pain and then the pain transformed into joy and I felt the joy radiating to other areas of my life."

Physician Marian Alonzo says, "No, it’s not hypnotherapy. It’s about the impact of one’s emotional reaction to an experience that determines whether you’ll have phobia or not. I’ve met with near separation couples, multiple suicide clients. If I can learn ISIS therapy, I’ll be more equipped to help these people."

Writer Agnes Prieto shares, "I was in dire straits during the Christmas season. A beloved son had just died six months before. The season had plunged me into terrible depths. There seemed to be no way beyond the wall of grief. It had become physical, my limbs were in pain, and I could barely walk.

"Gina called. She had just been to Australia and wanted to share what she had learned at the Clairvision School. I dragged myself to her house and submitted myself to a process called ISIS, not knowing what to expect. In less than two hours, the Inner Space Interactive Sourcing had expunged the wailing and keening within. Though I still grieved, I was no longer paralyzed. In fact, I flexed my muscles – the pain was gone, my being was light. Over the next few days, I would be amazed at how much progress was made – the most important being the letting go. I knew I would always love Xave, but I was in the here and now, I would face my life without him.

"Three more sessions would follow, two of them with Matteus, the ISIS expert from the school. In a couple of weeks I was renewed. ISIS goes deep into the subconscious, allowing what is suppressed to be dealt with swiftly but in loving care. It clears us of the emotional and psychic baggage we carry without our even knowing and enables us to be truly in the present, with strength and clarity of mind and spirit."

Chona Lopez, businesswoman, says "My ISIS was very helpful to me because during this session a lot of emotion suppressed over the years resurfaced."

Lawyer Jay Gatmaitan shares, "My ISIS regression revealed in a gently befriending way past events and issues that are significant to my better understanding and appreciation of my present as well as my predispositions in life. It also helped me to take meaningful cognition of a recurring experience that had eluded past conceptualizations but appears to be a key point or direction in my personal and spiritual journey."

Managing consultant Mayang Pascual says, "I was faced with my core conflict in life and took a long hard look at what was making me immobile and stuck up. It was a liberating experience. ISIS helped me reframe it and move forward."

From April 1 to 10, there will be an ISIS intensive at the Lopez Center, which will be facilitated by highly trained instructors from Dr. Sagan’s school in Australia. During the course one will gain first hand experience of ISIS, both as a connector and as a client. This will mean you can then help friends/family who are going through an emotionally difficult time. The course is highly recommended for people involved in counseling and healing. However, more training will be required to do sessions professionally. ISIS is not about trying to find quick fix-ups for your problems but gaining an in-depth vision of yourself that will lead to real transformation, not just improvements. If you are in the quest for new ground and have a pioneering mind, ISIS could well be what you have been looking for. One point, though: Anyone who applies must be ready to commit for the entire 10 days.

A prerequisite for applying for the ISIS intensive is the attendance of a two-day "Awakening the Third Eye" workshop. The workshop will be held at the ABS-CBN Training Hall, ELJ building, 13th Floor, Lopez Drive, Quezon City on March 27 and 28, from 9 — 5 p.m. The fee is P1,500 for two days, inclusive of lunch and snacks.

The 10-day ISIS Intensive will be held at the Lopez Center in Antipolo from April 1 to 10. The rates are as follows: dorm rate, P15,000; triple rate, P17,000; double rate, P20,000; and single rate, P30,000.

Another session will be held from April 12 to 16. Three highly trained practitioners will be available for private consultations. This costs P2,000 a session and lasts one hour. For more information, call 0920-8519717 or e-mail clair_vision@abs-cbn.com. You can also call 9224842 ask for Val/Angelie during office hours.

Space is strictly limited. Reservations with a 50-percent deposit must be in by March 15. It is highly encouraged that you read the books Regression: Past Life Therapy and Atlantean Secrets Vol. 1 before the workshop. You can ask for the books from the numbers above.
