Yuletide celebrations at Amorita

MANILA, Philippines - ‘Tis the most-celebrated holiday of the year. And to make things more memorable and festive, Amorita Resort has set the stage for a series of Christmas offerings that is sure to put the “merry” back in the old holiday cheer.

Amorita is starting the celebrations early as it serves the merienda cena buffet — a snack selection that runs today from 4 to 6 p.m.. For only P399++ per person, this special pre-dinner buffet lets guests indulge in a delightful selection of Filipino favorites that includes bibingka, cassava cake, suman, biko, torta, puto and maja blanca — all served with a rich cup of steaming sikwate (hot chocolate).

After guests have had their fill of sweets, they can join the in-house Mass at 6 p.m., shortly followed by La Noche Buena that starts at 7 p.m. and ends at 10 p.m. To be served also are traditional Spanish cuisines straight from the land of paella. For only P1,299++ per person, Amorita’s special Spanish-themed Noche Buena includes a selection of traditional dishes made from only the best and freshest produce available in the market.

Providing everyone with a wide selection of holiday offerings is Amorita’s Saffron Restaurant. Saffron Restaurant’s decadent delicacies are the perfect compliment to the breath-taking views that the resort offers.

On Christmas Day, Amorita serves an international buffet brunch that will be available from 7 in the morning to 12 noon to in-house as well as walk-in guests of the resort. For only P999++ per person, guests can enjoy a wide array of international favorites served amid a setting that boasts breath-taking views of Bohol Sea and the famed Alona Beach from the top of the cliff.
