MANILA, Philippines — Jessy Mendiola revealed that she was the one who came up with Peanut, the nickname of her and Luis Manzano's firstborn, Isabella Rose.

The actress revealed this tidbit and more when she graced the Watsons Health Expo 2024 in SM Megamall as the brand ambassador of Health Fusion's multivitamin gummies Beauty Bunny.

She was asked how she wants her daughter to be called between her two nicknames, Peanut and Rosie. She said she prefers Rosie.

"Ako talaga 'yung nagpasimuno ng Rosie. Fun fact: Ako rin 'yung nagpasimuno ng Peanut kasi when we first saw Rosie sa ultrasound, naka-shape siya as peanut. Tapos may iba palang mommies na ganoon pala ang simula, it's either peanut or bean ang shape ni baby. I think mga two months pa lang.

"Doon ko nakita tapos sabi ko kay Luis, 'Uy, love, o para siyang peanut. It stuck na with him. Sabi niya she'll always be my Peanut Manzano," Jessy said.

She quickly added, "So sabi ko, ano kaya next natin, Butter?"

Jessy wants to have more kids, but she thinks it might not be sooner than she would want it to be.

"Sana talaga. I really wanna have kids as much as I can. Gusto ko ng maraming anak but, you know, ang dami ring kailangan gawin ngayon. Soon, but not right now. Not very soon but soon. Magulo ba?" she said.
