'Beauty comes from within': Bea Alonzo shares beauty tips amid breakup with Dominic Roque
MANILA, Philippines — Actress Bea Alonzo believes in the old adage that the beauty that matters most comes from the inside.
At the launch of OPPO Reno11 5G and the OPPO Reno11 Pro 5G last Thursday, Philstar.com asked Bea in an exclusive interview about her beauty secret given her blooming nature lately.
Bea initially quipped it had to do with her sleeping schedule before sharing it starts with self-care.
"You have to take care of yourself and your health," Bea said. "Sabi nga nila, 'Beauty comes from within'... so siguro you should meditate and reflect."
The actress added other typical beauty tips like following a consistent skincare routine, something she observes herself alongside going to a clinic and working out.
"But most importantly I think... [a] happy heart yung nagbibigay ng beauty sa isang babae," Bea ended.
A few days after Bea's interview with Philstar.com, Boy Abunda confirmed that Bea and her fiance Dominic Roque have separated.
"Ako'y nalungkot talaga dahil madalas kami nagkikita ni Bea, nagkukuwentuhan kami sa buhay, sa kanila, their marriage plans, et cetera," Boy said on his show "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda" last February 6. "Sino ba naman ayaw maayos ang ganitong problema? They're going through a rough patch."
The host left the prospect of their continued fallout or getting back together to the two actors, but reiterated they indeed have split and Bea even returned the engagement ring as the wedding is called off for now. — Video by Anj Andaya, Interview by Deni Bernardo
