Beauty from royalty
Many years ago, I interviewed the lovely couple, Count Hubert d’Ornano and his wife, Countess Isabelle d’Ornano, in their elegant home in Paris.
Their home defined old-world refinement with its antiques, piles of books and storied curios. At the same time, it had contemporary sculptures and also handcrafted pillows, which gave it a warm touch.
“Being surrounded by beauty sets your standards high,” said Countess Izabella, a descendant of Poland’s Queen Barbara Radziwill. Count Hubert passed away in 2015, but he is forever remembered in the beauty industry as the founder of Sisley, the luxury botanical beauty company.
Sisley’s latest bestseller, as introduced by the Rustan’s beauty team headed by Mica Agdamag in a recent lunch at 1120 House, is a wow! Called All Day, All Year, it is an essential anti-aging protection that shields your face from aggressors that are responsible for 80 percent of skin aging.
This multi-tasking product also stimulates the skin’s defense system, resulting in diminished wrinkles, smoother skin and a radiant glow. It also acts as a moisturizer. Use it for eight hours all day and you will see the difference.
All Day, All Year by Sisley uses plant-based ingredients like myrtle, sesame seeds, dandelions and marshmallow polysaccharides. The environment-conscious Sisley company, with headquarters in Paris, uses recyclable bottles.
Throughout the past decades, the Ornano couple has pioneered in beauty and anti-aging products, but this latest one is a milestone, a current bestseller.
