MANILA, Philippines - A “Spectacular Christmas” came to the grand lobby of Makati Shangri-La, Manila last Dec. 3 as the hotel presented a playful inspiration that promises to dazzle and delight each guest with a holiday circus in town for the entire month of December.
"We are happy to introduce a new approach this year by having a vintage, elegant Christmas circus. It is a reminder of our inner child and our happy, youthful Christmas memories. We want to share this joy with everyone,” said Alain Borgers, general manager of Makati Shangri-La, Manila and area manager of the Shangri-La Philippine properties.
This season, the hotel offers a wonderful line-up of circus-themed activities, restaurant specials, holiday stay room packages, Christmas hampers, holiday treats and savories and a spectacular New Year celebration.
From Dec. 15, 2015 to Jan. 31, 2016, guests staying at Makati Shangri-La, Manila will be entitled to one raffle entry to the raffle promo. The lucky winner and his companion of choice will win a two-night stay each at Kowloon Shangri-La, Hong Kong and Shangri-La Hotel, Singapore with round-trip airfare via Cathay Pacific Airways.
Christmas activities will take place throughout the holidays. Santa Claus will meet and greet guests at the hotel lobby as he hands out candy canes to all good little girls and boys on Dec. 24 from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Dec. 25 from noon to 2 p.m. Guests dining at the restaurants will get a chance to see circus acts on Dec. 5 and 19, jugglers on Dec. 6 and 20, and poi dancers on Dec. 13. Catch them from noon to 2:30 p.m. and from 7 to 10 p.m. on each date.
