"The mind that is cheerful at present will have no solicitude for the future, and will meet the bitter occurrences of life with a smile."Horace
Christmas is a magical time and a season for celebration. This holiday, Cinderella gives parents even more reasons to celebrate with some of the seasons most versatile and hip fashions from popular kids brand Oshkosh. Say goodbye to stiff and stuffy formal wear and instead dress up your little elves in casual yet pulled together pieces in bright, bold colors and patterns. The signature Oshkosh denims and khakis are dressed up for the holidays with touches of whimsy and interesting accents like ribbons, bows, pleats and ruffles. Boys will look classic but modern in striped tees or checkered button-down shirts while girls can choose from simple A-line dresses or stylish separates in playful prints. There are some things that never go out of style like leading childrens clothing company Oshkosh and Manilas favorite store Cinderella.
The Century Park Hotel threw a big celebration an unforgettable 70s retro-themed party for its corporate customers. The hotels Kachina Room was transformed into a colorful and psychedelic area complete with that 70s groove, and the sales and marketing department attended in funky get-ups. Century Parks dynamic general manager Paul Gill thanked the guests for their continued patronage of the hotel, while marketing director Angel Suntay and PR manager Steve Naguiat hosted the program and sales director Jessie Rivera directed the show.
Contests, dance and song numbers, and dozens of raffle prizes from the events generous sponsors spiced up the evening. Prizes included a P20,000-pearl pendant from Jewelmer; round-trip tickets to any local destination from Air Philippines; and weekend stays in Boracay from 357 Boracay and Paradise Garden.
The event was made possible through the help of ATR-Torres Wines and Spirits, Dollar Rent-A-Car, Premier Wines and Spirits, Philippine Wines and Merchants, Bravo!, Lotte Philippines, Tanduay Distillers Philippines, Imarflex, Izumi Beauty Parlor, and Asia Brewery, Inc.
It was truly a successful party!
"The British are coming!" That was the resounding cry by Paul Revere many years ago. Today, theres another British invasion, only this time its with Cinderellas recent launching of the flagship store of its premier brand British India at the Podium mall. The stores facade was draped in sheer fabrics in rich colors of fuchsia, purple and yellow which were later drawn for the grand unveiling by Ambassador Navrekha Sharma of the Republic of India; Ilocos Sur Gov. Chavit Singson; and the wives of ambassadors, including Jo-Lynne Sutherland (Canada), Somchit Philakone (Laos), Ulrike Caetano da Silva (Portugal) and Elsie Rekawa (Sri Lanka). Manilas fashionable set turned out to witness the launch of Cinderellas newest store and for a fashion show featuring the relaxed, classic and functional colonial chic of British India as modeled by women of distinctive style such as Consul Fortune Ledesma; beauty queens Evengeline Pascual and Sarah Jane Paez-Santiago; beauty and fitness guru Cory Quirino; and socialites Yoli Ayson and Che Singson.
