THINKaMuna Pilipinas Wins Prestigious Asia Design Prize 2026

MANILA, Philippines – MediaQuest’s media and information literacy (MIL) advocacy, THINKaMuna Pilipinas, has been officially named a winner in the communications category of the Asia Design Prize 2026.
Developed by Media5 Marketing Corporation, the campaign was recognized for its innovative use of design and storytelling to tackle the growing challenge of disinformation especially in digital media. By blending visual narratives with educational messaging, THINKaMuna Pilipinas has created an engaging campaign that encourages Filipinos to pause, think, and discern before clicking or sharing.
"Media and information literacy is more than an advocacy, it is a national survival skill," said Red Redrico, Head of Integrated Creatives at Media5. "This recognition from the Asia Design Prize reinforces our commitment to nation-building by equipping Filipinos with the tools necessary to safeguard the truth."
In partnership with UNESCO, THINKaMuna Pilipinas reaches audiences through a multi-platform strategy, including digital explainer videos, MIL workshops for newsrooms, and educational journals distributed to schools.
A key milestone for the campaign was the MIL Conference 2025, where MediaQuest Chairman Manuel V. Pangilinan urged that media and information literacy be integrated into both national policy and corporate social responsibility initiatives.
The Asia Design Prize, based in South Korea, is one of the region’s most respected design competitions. Judged by a panel of world-renowned experts, the prize honors designs that go beyond aesthetics to solve social problems and offer new directions for the global community.
This win places THINKaMuna Pilipinas among an elite group of international innovators, proving that creative design is a powerful tool for driving meaningful social change.
