A evening of significant triumphs

OH YES, IT’S JOHNNY - Johnny Litton - The Philippine Star
A evening of significant triumphs
Your columnist is grateful for the many happy blessings of friends as he celebrates 90 joyful years.

Now in its third year, the Johnny Awards once again lit up the stage of the Grand Hyatt Manila in BGC, Taguig City, honoring individuals whose work and values have left a lasting impact on Johnny Litton’s life, as well as on the lives of others.
This year’s awardees come from diverse fields but are united by a common thread: Each has made a meaningful difference through innovation, service, and art. Included in the 2025 roster of recipients was Martin Nievera, a long-time friend of Johnny and the enduring voice of our generation who continues to connect people across time.

Adding to the evening’s glamour were past Johnny Awards recipients, including Philippine Hotel Owners Association president Arthur Lopez, Solar Entertainment CEO Wilson Tieng, and Dr. Nona Ricafort.
Guests were treated to an array of exquisite cocktail fare prepared by chef Jessie Sincioco and previous awardee Johnlu Koa’s Lartizan and French Baker. With the ballroom draped in majestic oriental royalty, the night unfolded as a heartfelt tribute to visionaries and a celebration of friendships and values that have endured through time.
