PHOTOS: Vic thanks Pauleen amid “not ideal” relationship during birthday bash

MANILA, Philippines - “Eat Bulaga” main host Vic Sotto celebrated his 60th birthday last week via a surprise party organized by his children and girlfriend Pauleen Luna.

 

The comedian, who turned 60 on April 28, turned emotional during his speech at the celebration as he thanked his “wonderful and understanding children,” his friends and co-workers, and his family.

 

Among those who attended the bash include his four children—Danica and Oyo (his children with actress Dina Bonnevie), Paulina (daughter with former actress Angela Luz), and Vico (son with actress Coney Reyes)--his brothers, and colleagues and co-hosts in “Eat Bulaga.”

 

 

“Thank you very much as inyong lahat, most especially kay Pauleen. Alam kong hindi rin ideal ang ating relationship. You have a lot to go through in dealing with me. Because if you deal with me, you deal with all these people,” Vic said during his birthday party as aired on GMA-7's showbiz talk show “Startalk” on Sunday, May 4.

 

“Birthday pa lang yun. Isa-isa lang, mahina ang kalaban. Malalaman natin yun sa tamang panahon, sa tamang panahon ng Diyos,” he told “Startalk” at the sidelines of the part when asked about being engaged to Pauleen.

“Kahit naman wala pa doon e, I always make it a point that I will take care of him,” the Kapuso actress said. 

 

The star of GMA-7's “The Borrowed Wife” took to her Instagram account to share her happiness for being part of Vic's birthday celebration.

 

 

“Today, I saw happiness in Vic's eyes. The kind of happiness that no one can ever buy. He's truly a blessed man, in all ways. I am happy to have seen this with my own eyes. And also, to be a part of his life. God is really the best! With Him, NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE. I love you, babe,” she said.
