Celebrity kids learn with Jollibee Kids Club

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Danica Sotto-Pingris and chef mom Jackie Ang-Po are keen on raising their kids to be talented, smart and outgoing. To encourage their kids, Mic and Kylie, to develop their talents and meet new friends, the two moms have enlisted their youngsters to be Jollibee Kids Club (JKC) members.

As part of their privilege as Jollibee Kids Club members, they may choose to participate in any of the year-round JKC workshops which allow kids to hone their intelligence and social skills while also encouraging children’s imaginations, developing their talents and letting them interact with fellow JKC members.

Danica and her four-year-old son Mic recently joined other moms and kids during the JKC Maskara Painting Workshop at Jollibee Welcome Plaza in Pasay City. During the workshop, the children showcased their knack for creativity by designing their own colorful masks.

“Mic is very athletic like his Dad,” shared Danica about her four-year-old son. “Aside from enroling him in taekwondo and swimming classes, I felt that I should also let him explore his other interests. He also loves to sing but he is usually shy around other people. That is why I let him join the Jollibee Kids Club. It’s a great way for him to interact with kids his age who share the same interests.”

As for Chef Jackie and her seven-year-old daughter Kylie, the JKC Acting Workshop held recently at Jollibee EDSA Benin was a fun way to learn the basics of the performing arts. “The kids learn a lot because the workshops are very fun and entertaining,” Jackie noted. “It’s like a Jollibee Kids Party — there are balloons and games, and we all get to draw and paint. Jollibee even comes to surprise us!” said Kylie.

According to the chef mom, the Jollibee Kids Club is perfect for kids like Kylie who have a variety of interests. “Like me, my daughter is into painting, drawing, and baking. She also loves ballet and has started joining school plays,” Jackie shared.

The Jollibee Kids Club is open to kids 12 years old and below. It offers different workshops from performance arts to crafts-making, as well as activities that enrich the kids’ social skills.
