Phil Younghusband: "I'm serious about Angel"
True to its vision of expanding the landscape of sports television, AKTV recently signed up Phil and James Younghusband to be part of the primetime sports channel’s roster of football superstars for the next three years.

Details of the contract were revealed in an intimate post-contract signing press conference at Masas Restaurant in Greenbelt, Makati City on Thursday, November 10.
Footbal Ambassadors
As star players of popular Philippine national football team Azkals, the Younghusband brothers will be bringing to AKTV their expertise and influence as they host a series of segments and become the sports channel’s football ambassadors.
Aside from teaching football on TV, Phil and James will likewise spread their advocacy on diet and nutrition by giving tips on living a healthy and active lifestyle. Instead of hosting a show, the Younghusband brothers will appear on series of segments which would be a welcome treat for AKTV viewers.
Relationship with Angel Locsin
Members of the entertainment press asked Phil about the status of his relationship with actress Angel Locsin.
“We are happy. We are very happy. We are enjoying each other's company. I want to spend as much time with Angel as possible. And for us, status or what we call our relationship, it does not matter to us.
“We are happy with the way it is going and we are just very, very happy,” Phil said.
Phil was asked if he is serious about his budding relationship with Angel and the Azkals forward and Loyola Meralco Sparks FC midfielder immediately replied, “I'm serious about Angel.”
