RC Las Piñas holds Rabe rapid chess

MANILA, Philippines - The Jose T. Rabe rapid chess tournament will be held Sunday with five divisions on tap, including the non-master offering a top purse of P5,000, at Alphaland Southgate Mall’s food court on Chino Roces Avenue Extension in Makati City.

The other featured events are 16-under, 14-, 12- and 10-under categories along with the category events and the ladies division.

The tournament is organized by the Rotary Club Las Piñas East in memory of the late former PCF director and national arbiter Jose “Boy” Rabe, who passed away last March 2011.

Registration is ongoing with fee pegged at P200 for the non-master and P150 for the age-group.
