Southwoods Invitational unfolds today

MANILA, Philippines - The Southwoods Invitational gets going today with a maximum field of 500 seeing action in various divisions at the Masters and Legends courses of the Manila Southwoods Golf and Country Club in Carmona, Cavite.

Keen competition is seen in five categories of the member-guest team event, including the sponsors division, with each squad set to play at two of the country’s top courses in the 36-hole tournament spread over four days.

A brand-new Mitsubishi Montero Sport and Mitsubishi Lancer EX GLX M/T are at stake as hole-in-one prizes in the tournament, presented by Whealth Inc., to be played under the Modified Aggregate Stableford scoring system.
