MANILA, Philippines — A Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) company executive explained that tanks can remain safe during emergencies like typhoons and earthquakes.

In an interview with Philstar.com, Isla LPG Corporation public affairs officer Marvin Castor elaborated on the brand's slogan "Peace of Mind."

"Our slogan is more than just words — it's the core of our operation," Castor said. "We ensure this peace of mind by adhering to the strictest global safety and quality standards for all Solane LPG products."

The brand assures safety as its De Salpak or snap-on tanks have an auto shut-off feature that instantly cuts the gas if the hose is ever disconnected accidentally while the De Roskas or twist-on tanks feature a twist-to-lock system providing reliable closure.

"Beyond the tank design, we enforce a seven-point safety check process, ensure professional installation, and protect against external risks with the genuine 'Bioseal,' which blocks inferior, counterfeit products," Castor continued.

He reiterated that every Solane container is "thoroughly inspected and maintained with every refill to guarantee continuous quality and your total peace of mind."

Asked how they compares to today's electric stoves and other means, Castor said LPG remains one of the most efficient and reliable ways of cooking and considered one of the cleanest fuels available.

"With proper use and regular maintenance of cylinders and accessories, LPG also remains a very safe option," he also said. "In addition, it is cost-effective and budget-friendly, making it accessible for many Filipino households."

Solane recently lauched its first-ever drive-thru service in Tarlac City, marking a significant step in the company's commitment to providing customers with convenient and accessible ways to purchase quality LPG.
