Filipinos make waves in Canada

MANILA, Philippines - Member of Parliament Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau, (in barong, the best bet for Prime Minster of Canada in 2015) was the guest of honor at the 7th Filipinos Making Waves Festival (FMWF) held last July 13 at Yonge-Dundas Square in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Also in photo are Bing Bao, Philippine vice-consul general in Toronto; Chyrll Samson, singer/performer; Miss Manila 2013 Danielle Ocampo; Myrna Soriano, festival curator; a representative of the Canadian Military Forces; and Renato Valdez, FMWF awardee for this year’s festival.
