Let there be (natural) light on LCD TV

-

MANILA, Philippines - With the onset of modern technological advancements, home entertainment has evolved into an interactive, high-definition, visual experience.

Bringing the promise of true-to-life picture and color clarity along with new levels of optimum viewing performance is TCL Corp., Asia’s trusted consumer electronics brand and global TV manufacturer, as it heralds a new era of quality home entertainment through the perfection of its latest NaturaLight LCD TV technology.

The NaturaLight surpasses expectations with its exciting industrial and performance attributes. Allowing the integration of dynamically engineered technological features that showcase not just a broad spectrum of multi-functional advances, TCL’s unique proprietary NaturaLight technology boasts user-friendly and environmentally suitable applications that provide viewers with a healthier LCD screen illumination.

The incorporation of NaturaLight as part of TCL’s Health System Integration platform enhances the gradation and contrast in image quality of flat panel TVs via the Dynamic Contrast Control feature. Viewers are treated to crisp visual images as it automatically changes the contrast to suit each type of motion and light. By helping convert the harmful light emitted from the screen to circular polarized light — which is closer to the natural light in terms of most physical properties — TV watching becomes more comfortable for the eyes even when they are exposed to long, continuous viewing hours.

TCL’s energy saving technology dramatically adjusts backlight according to picture content while saving energy up to 50 percent, thus continuous TV watching becomes cost-efficient, especially for household users.

“Aside from benefiting from TCL LCD TV’s maximized picture quality and clarity, the NaturaLight technology resolves the problem of high energy consumption by plasma screens that lack beaming quality and have to rely on backlighting to illuminate,” explained Jacky Zhou, CEO of TCL Sun, Inc., the local manufacturer and distributor of TCL television.

Compared with conventional LCD TVs, TCL’s latest LCD TV models project vivid screen actions via its improved motion resolution, and so blurs and image noise are automatically reduced, if not completely removed. The new LCD panels that will revolutionize this breakthrough proprietary technology are the E9A, E9B, P10, and N9.

In addition to NaturaLight technology, the second-generation Health platform is combined with DDHD3 pro in all TCL Health TV series. The Health platform II improves higher definition and more softness of LCD imaging. Also included in the Health platform are: Full HD 1920*1080P, DDHD3pro Engine, Dynamic Contrast Control, Support to HDMI 1.3 *2, Support to USB 2.0, AI-Switch, DCTI (Digital Color Transient Improvement), DLTI (Digital Luminance Transient Improvement), PIP/POP, picture capture, invisible speaker, soft touch control panel, and swivel stand.

Apart from being the only company to offer customers a four-year warranty on picture tube and two-year warranty for parts and labor to all its CRT TVs, TCL is the first global brand that offers competitively priced, quality home entertainment products with contemporary features and design — all for the utmost value and enjoyment of consumers.

The latest TCL LCD series with NaturaLight technology is available at all leading appliance stores nationwide.  For information, call 567-3904 / 567-3803; visit www.tcl.com/main_en or e-mail zhengming@tcl.com.
