"Si Lucky ay napakabuting tao, maalaga at napakamatulungin. (Lucky is a very kind-hearted, caring, and helpful person)," she said. 

In turn, Luis responded with, "I want you to have all the best in life. ‘Gusto ko maging masaya ka every day, sa bawat tulog at paggising mo, masaya ka. (I want you to be happy every day, every time you sleep or wake up, you are happy)."

So, in the spirit of honoring outstanding kasambahays, helpers, caretakers, and drivers, JCI Senate Philippines, together with the Palawan Group of Companies launched the annual Kasambahay Kasambuhay Pilipinas Awards eight years ago. The organizers extended an invitation to them to participate and for employers to nominate their household helpers for the award. Both organizations’ shared vision and passion led to the creation of this award, which recognizes the invaluable contributions of beloved kasambahays and commends their hard work, dedication, and integrity.
