MANILA, Philippines - Chowking refreshes those tired taste buds with its latest offering — the Orange Chicken. With its sweet and spicy taste sauce with Mandarin orange bits, Orange Chicken is the perfect way to enjoy a well-deserved lunch and dinner break.

It is available in three sets: the rice chow meal with a generous portion of orange chicken and rice at P69; lauriat, which includes crispy noodles, chicharap and buchi at P99; and salo-salo set for sharing at P125.

BluFish offers new ways to enjoy the freshest fish, oysters, shellfish, crabs, lobsters, and other seafood items.

Freshly caught local sea bass, grouper, and sole are baked, grilled, or steamed.

Must-try is the Moroccan sea bass stuffed with couscous, and served with roasted vegetables.

The Red Crab Alimango House offers one of its specialties — the Sinugba World Queen and King Seafood Platter.

Also try the pinausukan steamed pla-pla and live shrimps cooked in citrus boil; sinabawan na bangus belly; sinigang sa bayabas, pinirito bacon-wrapped camaron rebosado; jumbangus ala bistek, and seafood curry.

Pan Pacific Hotel introduces its live-in meeting package that guarantees worry-free, productive gatherings in any of its seven fully equipped function rooms with broadband Internet access and a comprehensive range of audio-visual equipment.

The package includes overnight accommodation on single- or twin-sharing, eight-hour use of the function room with LCD projector, lunch, and morning and afternoon snacks at a starting rate of P3,500 per person on twin-sharing in a superior room.

Carpaccio de boeuf at Manila Pavilion Hotel

The Rotisserie, Manila Pavilion Hotel’s premier fine-dining restaurant, continues to serve hotel guests with a selection of Euro-Continental cuisine complemented by the restaurant’s great service.

The menu includes dishes like carpaccio de boeuf, thin slices of imported beef tenderloin marinated in basil oil, dijon mustard topped with forest mushroom spring rolls; cream of scallops, Southeast Asian scallops, and young onion leeks flavored with saffron; sea bass and Boursin cheese, pan-fried sea bass served with steamed vegetables and peppered Boursin cheese sauce; veal Perigord, young tenderloin medallions with nutty butter, whipped potatoes, garlic spinach, and black truffle sauce; and lamb rack Provencale, served on potato rissole with field vegetables and rosemary jus, among many other exquisite creations.

The Rotisserie is located at the third floor of the Manila Pavilion Hotel and is open for lunch daily except on weekends from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Dinner is served Monday to Saturday from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m.
