Kyline Alcantara gives strong Kathryn Bernardo vibes in looks and love life
MANILA, Philippines — "Kyline" and "Kathryn" not only rhyme; the two actresses from rival networks GMA and ABS-CBN now also look alike — in both style and recent fate in love life.
When Kyline Alcantara entered through the tall glass doors of the recently reopened store of American luxury brand Marc Jacobs in Greenbelt 5, guests thought it was Kathryn Bernardo who came as both actresses are morena and go for pulled-back hairstyles that highlight their beautiful cheekbones.
Kyline, like Kathryn, came in with a commanding presence and confidence — which perhaps, comes from being newly liberated from a reel- and real-life love team, just like Kathryn, who recently broke up with Daniel Padilla.
But some things remain for Kyline. For one, when romantic love fails, her love for fashion is there as her constant.
“I love fashion! I love styling myself. I love feeling confident and beautiful. I love it so much!” she declared in an interview exclusive with Philstar.com.
“When it comes to styling myself, it really depends on my mood. Sometimes, I like street style, sometimes, I like this, so dressed. Sometimes, I like athletic type of styling. It really depends on my mood, as long as it gives you a lot of confidence, inner confidence, that’s enough,” she said as style advice.
Apart from being GMA’s “Primera Bida Kontrabida,” Kyline is enjoying being a fashion influencer for brands such as Marc Jacobs, which she adores for its classic edge and multipurpose tote bags.
“I would love to!” she exclaimed with much gusto when asked if she would also be gracing fashion weeks abroad like her fellow Kapuso star and fashion influencer Heart Evangelista.
“In the future! Darating din tayo d’yan! Manifesting! Manifesting it!”
