MANILA, Philippines — By the second week of March, the 71st edition of the Miss World competition will unfold at the Jio World Convention Center in Mumbai, India.

The Miss World Organization recently rolled out the promotional video for the forthcoming event. "In the land of cultural diversity, India welcomes 130 nations to the 71st Miss World finals. A festival of glamor, fashion, talent, sport and beauty with a purpose. Be part of a unique journey of breathtaking beauty to incredible India and find out who will win the ultimate crown."

The promo video entices pageant enthusiasts from around the world to be part of the much-awaited crowning ceremonies in Mumbai.

In a social media post on X (formerly Twitter), the Miss World Organization, through chairman of Miss World Organization, Julia Morley CBE stated, "Excitement fills the air as we proudly announced India as the host country for Miss World. A celebration of beauty, diversity and empowerment awaits. Get ready for a spectacular journey."

Miss World Philippines 2022 Gwendolyne Fourniol will be flying to Mumbai, after Valentine's weekend, in time for the sashing ceremonies.

Miss World 2022 titleholder Karolina Bielowska of Poland will crown her successor at the close of the crowning ceremonies in early March. Stay tuned!
