Sari Lazaro redefines glamour and luxe
MANILA, Philippines – Fashion designer Sari Lazaro redefined the essence of glamour and ethereal luxe through a collection of signature designs at the Green Sun Hotel last Jan. 14.
Sari Lazaro has always been inclined to fashion. She took design courses at Central Saint Martin and London College of Fashion, and an honorary degree at Istituto Marangoni in London, England.
The collection was inspired by natural forest themes. Delicate and airy, each piece transformed into strong and contemporary using traditional details on modern ensembles. Lazaro made a statement on the state of being royal.
Combining silk, chiffon and lace, the collection was a modernization of old world romance: ethereal, feminine and luxurious.
In line with the promotion of local talent, ingenuity and craftsmanship in Philippine fashion, major industry player Art Personas, along with JCA Productions, directed by Jackie Aquino, presented the work of Sari Lazaro in a high-end fashion affair.
Partners were Radiowealth Finance, Honeycomb Builders Incorporated, Guevent Insurance Broker Corp., Center for Aesthetic Studies, Fabio Salsa, Grey Goose and Franck Provost.
