Mega magazine celebrates 19 years of fashion, beauty and success
MANILA, Philippines - Mega magazine celebrates its 19th year of being at the forefront of the fashion industry.
Mega has gone through major evolutions, all while keeping its core of promoting the finest in Philippine fashion, beauty and lifestyle. This February 2011 anniversary issue not only features the cover girl but also honors the whole cast of characters required to create the Philippines’ best fashion magazine. From fashion vanguard Nanette Medved-Po, coveted designer Jun Escario, makeup maven Lala Flores, to celebrity photographer Mark Nicdao — these four professionals constitute the crew who make Mega’s job of producing a fashion magazine all worth it.
Sari Yap, president of Mega Publishing Group, explains that this issue also honors the sartorial classics that have stood the test of time — be it the ballet flat to the Rayban aviators that will always be in our treasured wardrobes.
Mega also launches the new generation with a Best in Show featuring newly crowned Ford Supermodel of the World 2010 Danica Magpantay, her sister Danielle and fellow supermodel-in-training Sam Gomez — all showcasing the best collections from Philippine Fashion Week’s Summer 2011.
