BVLGARI Diva Launched @ Makati Shangri-la
MANILA, Philippines - Last November 12, 2013, BVLGARI, the Italian Luxury maison, had a private salon show at the Makati Shangri-la Hotel where the newest collection for 2013 was unveiled. The inspiration of this collection is the dolce vida glamour of the 50’s and 60’s which was strongly represented through divas such as Sophia Loren, Ava Gardner, Ingrid Bergman, and, of course, the grand dame of bygone Hollywood - Elizabeth Taylor.
Guests were welcomed with Moët & Chandon champagne and the highlight of the evening was a fashion show which began with a surprise performance from Vernie Varga.
Diamonds of the highest quality were selected and set on 18kt white gold and polished inside-out to give it an extra-white sparkle that is of incomparable brilliance. The exquisite gracefulness of the timeless divas that inspired the collection was brought to life through the different pieces of the Diva collection which gently follow the movements of the body, adorning it with a style that is at once chic and casual.
