133 years of legal legacy

The Philippine Bar Association (PBA) celebrated its 133rd Foundation Day and Law Day with an elegant gathering at the Kamagong Room of the Manila Golf & Country Club in Makati City.
Distinguished PBA president Joseph Rebano warmly welcomed past presidents, members, and respected guests, honoring the association’s proud legacy as the country’s oldest voluntary national organization of lawyers. The event’s highlight was the inspiring keynote address of retired Supreme Court of the Philippines Associate Justice Vicente Mendoza, who emphasized the vital role of instilling respect for the law from an early age.
Justice Mendoza also administered the oath to the association’s new members, marking a meaningful moment of commitment to the ideals of justice and integrity.
The memorable evening beautifully celebrated tradition, excellence, and the PBA’s steadfast dedication to the advancement of the legal profession and the service of the Filipino nation.
A magical night for Connie
It was another sparkling evening of laughter, music, and warm camaraderie as friends gathered for the post-birthday celebration of Connie Haw at Hua Yuan Brasserie Chinoise at Hilton Manila Newport World Resorts, Pasay City.
Guests indulged in an exquisite lauriat dinner featuring perfectly steamed lapu-lapu, succulent Peking duck, fresh suahe, and a lineup of irresistible starters and comforting soup, with each dish serving as a delightful tribute to fine Chinese cuisine. With so many mouthwatering options, one could only wish for a second round to savor them all.
It was a truly memorable evening for a beloved member of society.
