Empowered women lead the way
A powerhouse panel of inspiring women leaders namely, Kaiser International Health Group president and medical director Dr. Leah Yolo, Beauty Re/Store co-owner Mikaela Lagdameo, Organique Inc. director of operations Martina Salimbangon, and Bikram Yoga Makati owner Ollay Aninion, topbilled the session on beauty, wellness, nutrition, and mental health, as part of the third Women Lead Conference hosted by the Italian Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines, Inc. (ICCPI).
Held at Dusit Thani Manila in Makati City, the session, moderated by wellness advocate and esteemed beautypreneur DMark Beauty Corporation CEO Nikki Tang, focused on practical strategies for inclusivity, empowerment, and innovation in today’s evolving health and beauty industries.
Attendees left the discussion energized, brimming with fresh insights, and motivated to lead change and champion gender equality in their respective fields.
Crowned in gold, welcomed with heart
The beauteous Miss Universe 2024 Victoria Kjær Theilvig graced the stunning island of Palawan for the first time to visit the Jewelmer pearl farm, home of the golden South Sea pearls, that adorn her Lumière de l’Infini Crown.
The radiant beauty queen met the inspiring artisans behind the iconic piece, moved to tears by their warm welcome and artistry. She even joined in a spirited tinikling dance after a festive kamayan feast.
Truly, a royal visit that celebrated Filipino culture, craftsmanship, and the heartfelt stories behind every pearl.
Of bold prints and big wins
The ever-glamorous Lovely Ladies kicked off their first meetup with a vibrant soirée, dubbed Spring Fling Fashion, held at Pulong at Fashion Interiors in Makati City, honoring the first batch of birthday celebrators in style.
Dressed in eye-catching prints and bold hues, everyone enjoyed a delightful sit-down dinner, endless photo ops, and lively dancing. Lucky guests brought home fabulous raffle prizes from generous friends Milo Bondoc, Imelda Menguito, and Maru Go. The grand Ultherapy X prize from Luminisce went to Bong Prada Lim and May Gatchalian.
This memorable event was definitely a success, thanks to the hardworking team of Marissa Fenton, Roselle Rebano, and Michelle Garcia-Arce, who all came together to organize the unforgettable evening.
