'At least naalala niya': Vice Ganda quips on 'Showtime' contestant's birth certificate
MANILA, Philippines — Vice Ganda showed that he keeps updated with the news and social issues in the country as seen in recent episodes of "It's Showtime."
In the "Expecially For You" segment of the noontime show, Jhong Hilario compared the guest to Korean pop stars.
"Chinese siya. Nakalimutan ko lang 'yung pangalan niya," Vice said, drawing laughter from the crowd.
"Late [kasi] na-register 'yung birth certificate," he added.

Last Friday, Vice also bantered with a guest, whom he asked about his parents and where he was born. The contestant replied that he was born to a Filipina mother and Chinese father and that he was born in Olongapo.
"At least naalala niya [ang mga sagot], 'di ba? Very good," Vice said.
Jhong asked Vice who he was referring to.
"'Yung nandoon sa Senate hearing! Hindi mo ba napanood? Panoorin niyo kaya nang aware tayo," Vice replied.
Bamban, Tarlac Mayor Alice Guo was invited to attend the Senate hearing led by Senators Risa Hontiveros and Sherwin Gatchalian. The Bamban mayor was grilled on her citizenship and on her alleged link to Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGOs).
"Your honor, hindi ko na po maalala," Guo told senators during the inquiry.
