Amid the luminous world of golden South Sea pearls, resilience is not just a trait, it’s a journey. As Women’s Month unfolded, international luxury brand Jewelmer proudly championed the #PowerfulinPearls movement for the fourth consecutive year.
Partnering with acclaimed Filipino fashion designer Rajo Laurel, Jewelmer celebrated the essence of womanhood through the timeless allure of South Sea pearls and bespoke couture.
Customers were offered an opportunity to receive a custom cocktail dress of his design to complement feeling powerful in their Jewelmer pearls.
Through the campaign, this year’s Miss Universe Philippines delegates also showcased their inner strength while adorned in radiant Jewelmer pearls.
Joining the chorus of empowerment, the stunning delegates shared inspiring stories, echoing the enduring strength of the South Sea pearl. For the wonderful women of the Miss Universe Philippines pageant, the journey toward empowerment mirrors the transformative process of pearl cultivation.
Of lavish laughter & celebratory charm
Gathered under the shimmering lights of the Del Rosario Law Centre penthouse in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, the Lovely Ladies’ soiree, meticulously organized by the always-thoughtful Marissa Fenton and the indefatigable Roselle Rebano, unfolded into an evening of jubilant festivities.
Amid laughter, melodies, and the promise of delightful surprises, birthday blessings abounded for the esteemed first quarter celebrators, namely Milo Bondoc, Beging Soriano, Agile Zamora, Mariel Beiermann, Angel Fenton, Lilibeth Campos, Robina Ko, Gela Cornelissen, and Michelle Arce, whose gracious hospitality enlivened the occasion with delectable feasts, while Dr. Mildred Vitangcol and Bong Prada Lim brought exquisite confections and succulent lechon, respectively.
Tokens of affection exchanged hands, embodying the camaraderie that defines this respected circle. Your columnist has always been fond of attending the exceptional gatherings of these fabulous women and this soiree was again one for the books. The event concluded with anticipation for the forthcoming June birthday rendezvous.
A new crown for Rabiya
Miss Universe Philippines 2020 Rabiya Mateo was bestowed a new crown as the latest face of Mags, marking a stylish collaboration that blossomed from her encounter with the company’s esteemed CEO Mags Cue in Iloilo, during her reign as Miss Iloilo City.
The contract signing, held at the elegant Pandan Asian Café in Quezon City, was graced by Mags’ sons Andre and Paolo Cue, adding a touch of familial support to her new endeavor.
Among the reputable attendees were Empire Artist Management vice president Jeffrey De Leon and celebrity lawyer Maggie Garduque with Sparkle GMA Artist Center AVP for talent sales, branding, and marketing Anne Puno-Ignacio and talent manager Jan Navarro.
