Direct from London’s West End: Peppa Pig Live! Treasure Hunt

MANILA, Philippines - The stage version of the pre-school TV show Peppa Pig is on its way to Manila.

Direct from London’s West End, Life Like Touring and Vivre Fort Entertainment bring Peppa Pig Live! Treasure Hunt from May 1 to 3 at the Meralco Theater with nine shows currently on sale now.

Peppa Pig is a lovable, exuberant little piggy who lives with Mummy, Daddy and brother, George. Peppa enjoys playing with her family and friends, loves jumping up and down in muddy puddles, laughing, and making loud snorting noises. Each  episode features everyday activities and themes that pre-schoolers can relate to, such as going to the playground, swimming, riding bikes, visiting grandparents and having play dates. Peppa Pig episodes support pre-schoolers’ social and emotional development, such as building self-esteem, cooperating, empathizing with others and identifying and expressing feelings.

Launched on Nickelodeon last year, Entertainment One’s Peppa Pig is a massive hit in the Philippines, with multiple episodes playing every day and is one of the most popular programs on Nickelodeon among kids two to 12 years old. Peppa Pig is also currently the fastest growing pre-school toy brand in the Philippines.

The Peppa Pig live theater show has been performed over 650 times to an audience of more than 650,000 people in the UK and Australia and is at last on its way to fans in Manila for the first time.

In the beautiful new theatrical production, Peppa Pig and her friends set off on a treasure hunt. Peppa, brother George and friend Danny Dog get up to fun and games on a day out on Grandad Dog’s boat. There are clues aplenty as Pedro Pony, Polly Parrot and Zoe Zebra help them find their treasure as they all enjoy a day of adventure. Full sail, ahoy!
