MANILA, Philippines — MSD Philippines has earned Great Place to Work® (GPTW) Certification for 2026–2027, with 90 percent of employees saying the company is a great place to work  –  well above the 65 percent required trust index benchmark to get certified.

The recognition is based on confidential employee feedback and marks an improvement from MSD Philippines’ previous certification for 2024-2025, which recorded 89 percent of employees gave the same positive assessment. The latest result reflects trust in a workplace culture built on purpose, inclusion, collaboration and opportunities to grow.

For MSD Philippines, the certification affirms that a strong employee experience is essential to advancing its mission to save and improve lives across human and animal health.

The 2026–2027 certification builds on MSD Philippines’ earlier recognition and its continuing efforts to create an environment where employees can do meaningful work, develop their capabilities and contribute to better health outcomes.

Mary Srethapakdi, managing director of MSD Philippines, said the result reflects the company’s continued focus in its people and culture.

“This certification is especially meaningful because it is reflective of our team’s culture – one where people are empowered to speak up, contribute, thrive and take ownership of the work we do as One MSD. By continuing to focus on the growth of the MSD employees, we strengthen our ability to deliver innovations that make a difference for patients and communities,” said Srethapakdi.

MSD’s people-focused approach to growth rings true for the Human Health, Animal Health and colleagues across divisions.

Guided by its mission, The Science of Healthier Animals®, MSD Animal Health brings together scientific innovation, integrity, respect for people and a customer-first mindset.

Its employees work alongside veterinarians, farmers, producers, pet owners and other partners to improve the health and well-being of animals, strengthen the bond between people and their pets, support a safe and sustainable food supply and help protect public health.

Phang Yuen Fun, managing director of MSD Animal Health Philippines, underscored the role of teamwork in creating an environment where employees can perform at their best.

For MSD Philippines, the 90 percent result is both a recognition of what employees have built together and a commitment to keep listening, learning and strengthening the workplace experience.
