Banner field seen in Parañaque chess

MANILA, Philippines - The first Saturday chess tournament holds its 67th edition on Saturday with another banner field expected to see action at the Perez Bldg., Doña Soledad Ave. cor. Australia St., Better Living Subd., Parañaque City.

The tournament is open to all untitled and rated players with NCFP rating not lower than 1950. Events on tap are the open, seniors, college, high school, elementary and female divisions.

The event is organized by the Parañaque Chess Association headed by Dr. Bong Perez and sponsored by Rep. Bambol Tolentino, Mayor Edwin Olivarez, Vice Mayor Rico Golez, kagawad Chona Navarro, Boy Francisco, Spare and Strike, Shakey’s Pizza (SM Bicutan) and Organo Gold Phl.

Listup is ongoing with fee pegged at P250 (regular) and P150 (kiddies).
